Beryli text messaging terms

These terms cover the Beryli text messaging program. They are part of the Terms of Service. How we handle your phone number and consent is described in the Privacy Policy.

What the program is

Beryli is a savings assistant you talk to by text message. Once you sign up, Beryli texts you about the recurring charges, trials, price increases, duplicate subscriptions, and discounts it finds in the bank accounts and mailbox you choose to connect, and replies to the questions you text it. Every message is conversational and about your own accounts. Beryli does not send marketing or promotional texts.

How you opt in

You opt in on our website, beryli.com. You enter your mobile phone number, tick a checkbox that is unticked by default, and then send the first text message to Beryli yourself from your own phone. Beryli does not text a number until a message has arrived from it. The consent text next to the checkbox reads:

I agree to receive recurring text messages from Beryli at the number I entered.

If you text Beryli from a number that has not signed up on the website, you receive one reply with a link to the sign-up page and nothing further until you sign up.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Beryli replies when you text it and sends a message when it finds something in your connected accounts, typically a few messages per week.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Beryli does not charge for text messages. Your mobile carrier may charge for messages you send or receive under your plan.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any Beryli message to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming that you have opted out and no further texts. You can also opt out by emailing support@beryli.com. Opting out ends the service, because Beryli works only by text. To start again, sign up on the website again.

Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages are supported on major US carriers.

Your phone number and consent

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is shared only with the service provider that delivers our text messages, and as required by law. See the Privacy Policy.
